The Duagh Plant Facility is located adjacent to the former CNR “Duagh Station Grounds”

Features:

ON-TRACK’s Duagh plant offers approximately 104 acres (zoned industrial), 1 Main Line Turnout, 3 Track Sidings, 5 Turnouts, 1 Continuous Loop Trackage, in excess of 7,000 feet of Industrial Trackage.

Excellent access to the site is provided by Highways No. 37 and Crowsnest Road. In addition, it is serviced daily by the Lakeland & Waterways branch line and an adjacent parallel access gravel road which runs diagonally (north/south) through the two quarter sections.

The entire property is circumscribed by roadways. The property is well situated in terms of rail service, with six to ten switches per week. In addition, special trains have been dispatched to the plant for special orders or car movements.

Services at Daugh Station Grounds:

ON-TRACK’s Duagh operation has capabilities for rail car destroyer and component recovery, cross spike reclamation, and sub-users for track space. The existing plant machinery and mobile equipment complements a variety of services and expansions.

Duagh is a total involvement facility encompassing the following:

  • Certified Combination Rail/Truck to handle both incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Custom Craning Services on bridge decks and timber hauling.
  • Custom Loading of wood and concrete ties to bulkhead flats for transport and distribution.
  • CW Rail handling, cropping and storage.
  • Derailment Cleanup from site locations for further processing at Duagh Marshalling Yard.
  • Panel Track construction, stockpiling and loading to Rail Cars.
  • Rail Car Cleaning Facilities.
  • Rail Car Movers and Railway equipment fabrication, repairs and maintenance.
  • Rail Switch (Turnout) assembly and stocking location.
  • Relay Quality Rail Recovery Operations.
  • Scrap Rail Cutting to 36 lengths by portable trailer mounted rail breaker – 300 tons per day.
  • Storage, Marshalling, Loading and Offloading of track materials and other satellite services for railway and industry affiliates.
  • Track Material Reclamation/Rehabilitation (Ties, Rail, Spikes, Anchors, Plates and Bolts).
  • Wood Tie Pre-Plating/Advance Pre-Plating for placing to grade and correct spacing.
